We're thrilled to share the success of a remarkable fundraising event led by Gizzi Erskine, which raised an outstanding £1,301 for Hackney food bank via the Bankuet platform! This fantastic achievement was part of her recent single launch party and Christmas raffle fundraiser in December, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to Gizzi and everyone involved.
Special acknowledgements go to generous contributors including Pelagonia, Bold Beans, Abbie Moulton, and Ninja plus the incredible performance by Luxury Apartments. Their donations played a pivotal role in this event’s success.
Our visit to Hackney Food bank this week brought to life the impact of these efforts, as we witnessed the delivery of vital supplies purchased with the funds raised. Bankuet combines donor funds and buys in bulk so for every £1 donated we can deliver much more than £1!
It's a sobering reality that food banks are still facing unprecedented challenges in meeting the growing demand, two years into the Cost of living crisis.
